Bedfordshire Bond

So it turns out that all bets are off for actor Colin Salmon becoming the next James Bond. It seems that there have been so many big money sums placed on him taking the 007 role for Bond21 that Ladbrokes have stopped taking them.

Interesting, the first Black bond; the first Bond to be played by an actor who has featured in the films already; the first Luton Bond... hang on a minute, the first Luton Bond?

Yes, Luton born and bred and chucked out of Luton VI form college to boot (a feat that even I didn't achieve with an average 58% lesson attendance). Add that to Luton composer David Arnold (who does the Bond music these days) and you've got a little Luton film revival going on.

Didn't they bring one of the Bond cars to Luton VI Form not so long ago too?
